Sloan Williams

I have had lots of experience playing and coaching volleyball. I played middle school volleyball at Charlotte Middle School, travel volleyball, high School volleyball at Creek Wood High School, and I have coached 4 years at Charlotte Middle School. I am currently still the head volleyball coach at Charlotte Middle School. I am also the club director here at The Hawks Den.

David Edmonson

Bio-Coach David Edmondson was born in August 1970. From a young age he had a love for sports. He graduated from Dickson Co. High school in 89', where he ran cross-country & track. That is where his love for running began. Following high school, He ran for Tennessee State University Super Sonic Track Club.

David has played many sports over the course of his lifetime. His passion met purpose later in life while attending Lipscomb University. He started training track athletes in 2013, then coaching football in 2018. With over 10 years of personal training & coaching experience he has utilized his skills and knowledge in speed and agility to help hundreds of athletes excel in their sport.

David started MO-NI Sports, named after his two daughters Monet and Nike in 2018.

Softball

Lennon Spicer

I was a 4 year starting pitcher at Creek Wood Highschool, and also was a part of the team that went to state 3 consecutive years. I was a member of the SoCal Athletics travel team. I am now a current 3rd year starting pitcher at Morehead State University.

My specialties are pitching as well as hitting. I have been working with girls in the range of 13-6. I have been giving lessons for round 5 years.

Michael Macchiaverna (Mack)

Michael Macchiaverna (Mack) , one of the creators and owners of The Hawk’s Den was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania. He was a multisport athlete all through high school career with the opportunity to play at the college level in all of these sports but he chose his love, baseball. He moved to Tennessee in 1996 after receiving a scholarship to play baseball at Tennessee Tech University. Mack played his 4 years and his senior year and received the Golden Eagle Award which represents leadership, positivity, maximum effort, teammate support and serving as the heart of the team. He enjoys teaching and passing down these virtues to our youth.
Since college he has continued his involvement with sports by volunteering and coaching youth sports. He has coached recreational and travel softball for many years. He has also continued to instruct in pitching, hitting and fielding until the present time.
Softball

Sam Morgan

I started playing softball at the age 4, and travel ball by age 9. Collecting World Series championship wins in USSSA, ISA, and ASA. I played 2 undefeated middle school seasons at William James Middle School, taking home two MTAC championships, and making the all conference team. I attended Creek Wood High School going to state 3 out of 4 years, placing 2nd runner up twice and 3rd runner up once.

While at state I claimed two state records; most hits in a game and most home runs in a game. After high school I continued my softball career at Freed-Hardeman University, as a catcher and third baseman. My final year at Freed-Hardeman we placed 1st in conference, won a bid to nationals, and placed second at nationals. I have given hitting and catching lessons for 4 years and look forward to continuing that and giving back to my community by shaping and guiding young minds.

I specialize in catching and hitting lessons.

I will offer lessons from ages 7-18.

Kayla Cooper

1. I love playing and coaching volleyball. I have 12 years of experience around the sport. I started playing in 6th grade at Charlotte Middle School. I was a setter for most of my middle school career. I continued at Creek Wood High School playing Libero my freshman year and an outside hitter the rest of the time. I have coached for 5 years at Charlotte Middle and am now coaching the 12u team at the Hawk's Den.

Summer Jackson

I have played volleyball for 11 years. I was a collegiate athlete at the University of Tennessee Southern. At UTS I played outside for 1 year, DS for 2 years, and Libero my senior year. In addition to this, I was also a setter and outside hitter for Creek Wood High School. For club ball I played with Dynamite and Club West. During my 4 years at the University of Tennessee Southern, my college team qualified for nationals for the first time in the school’s history. Currently I am the head coach of the 14u team at the Hawk Den.

I specialize in passing, setting, and hitting. In addition to coaching in a team setting, I also conduct private lessons.

Softball

Ashlan Sensing

My name is Ashlan Sensing and I have been pitching for 11 years. I played travel softball at a competitive level for 10 years finishing with EC Bullets. I pitched for Dickson County High School, where I had two state appearances. I am currently a sophomore pitcher at Trevecca Nazarene University. Last season I earned 1st Team All G-MAC.

I have previously helped travel teams and done individual lessons as well.

Heath Albright

I have been a lover of the game of volleyball since I was first introduced to it in 5th grade. I have spent the past 2 and a half years being the manager for Creek Wood volleyball. I have been lucky enough to be mentored by Coach Baker, Coach Don, and Coach Auburn. At Creek Wood, I would participate in practices and keep the score book. I had the privilege to be on the bench when Creek Wood won their first ever state title last year. I am currently the assistant coach under Coach Sloan Williams for the 151 team here at the Hawk's Den.

Taylor Heath

I have played volleyball for 7 years. I played middle school, high school, and a year in college at the University of Tennessee Southern. I also played travel volleyball for Dynamite, Ethos, and Club West. I specialize in hitting and passing. I am currently the head coach of the 12u team here at the Hawk's Den.
Baseball

JT Baksha

I played baseball for 20 years and have coached for 5. I commited to the University of Iowa as a sophomore in high School but a coaching change lead me to Division 1 Western Illinois University where I was a Left handed pitcher. I was a weekend starter for 3 years untill an Injury to my hip. I then transferred to the University of The Cumberlands for my senior year, where we won our conference and made the regional championship. I finished with a 2.93 Era.

I currently coach the Midland Tennessee 14u baseball team.

I specialize in pitching, hitting, and outfield. I have knowledge in baseball strength and conditioning as well.

Accolades include: Academic all conference. Played on the Cincinnati Reds Scout team. 4x perfect game all conference. 3x all American honorable mention. Ranked 7th Best LHP in Illinois as a Senior Also played on the Midwest team USA ntis team.
